Under the guidance of Vasilis (“Aegean Cuisine” chef),you will discover the secrets of the Melian cuisine.
The course starts with a welcome drink and a discussion about the Greek cuisine. Then you will have a quick tour of the facilities of the restaurant, which are used to prepare the traditional recipes (the fresh lasagna press, the wood oven, etc.). Afterwards, you will continue to a field next to the restaurant where you will collect your own vegetables and prepare with them the various dishes. You will have the chance to get your hands “dirty” and try new flavors, while you try local cheese, wine and get introduced to the history behind some recipes, exploring how the local culture and herbs have contributed to the evolution of each dish.Duringthe course, you will prepare traditional recipes but also a modern version of them.
The course ends with you having lunch with what you will have prepared.
